About The Position

CJ Logistics America is looking for a creative, driven, and organized Contract/Temporary Recruiter to support a special, high-impact recruiting initiative. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager and warehouse leaders to fill critical hourly and supervisory roles across multiple distribution centers. This is a temporary contract position with a length of 3-4 months, offering remote work after initial onsite training in Des Plaines, IL headquarters. The role requires immediate start.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of high-volume recruiting experience (20–30 open requisitions at a time)
Experience in recruiting in supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution required
Proven success sourcing hourly and supervisory talent
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and others

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs
Drive full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly roles
Utilize multiple sourcing strategies (job boards, networking, passive sourcing) to build strong candidate pipelines
Participate in job fairs and recruitment events
Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate hiring processes
Write engaging job descriptions and maintain postings across multiple platforms
Ensure an excellent candidate experience from application through offer
Stay compliant with all federal, state, and local hiring regulations
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on recruitment progress
Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
