About The Position

Heartland Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners and corrugated manufacturing industry leader, is currently seeking a Recruiter at our state-of-the-art facility in Kansas City, MO. The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting talents for all areas of the company by sourcing, pre-screening, assessing, presenting, and recommending the fit positions for the candidates to the department managers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting and sourcing experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently.
  • Ability to adopt the fast-changing needs/environment.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management skills and well-organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of the corrugated manufacturing industry process preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively develop strategies and actively source, attract, recruit and select high-quality candidates.
  • Serve as a primary contact to candidates and provide an exceptional candidate experience through the selection process and leave a positive company image.
  • Continuously communicate and review the plant manning to support the operations. Identify future hiring needs and stay proactive with the hiring plans/processes.
  • Periodically analyze the market trend and make recommendations.
  • Work with Department Managers and HR Partners to develop an understanding of the department environment, strategy and talent profiles to support the hiring needs of the business.
  • Provide weekly progress and status update reports with the hiring status and manning updates.
  • Conduct in-depth screen, assess, and identify talent, present, and recommend the fit positions for the candidates to the department managers. Continuously communicate and keep the candidates engaged for level of interest, qualifications, pay expectations, etc.
  • Schedule interviews by coordinating with the department managers.
  • Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness by effectively explaining various company benefits.
  • Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents, or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
  • Perform and assist in other miscellaneous HR duties.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and ability to work flexible hours or extended hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
