About The Position

Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, sourcing and screening candidates, extending offers, and facilitating onboarding. The Recruiter will utilize the applicant tracking system (Kallidus) to post positions and manage applicants, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and compliance with all federal and state laws. The position also requires representing the company at recruiting events and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or other field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in a recruiting, sourcing, or related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to effectively communicate (written/verbal) with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate ambiguous situations to complete recruiting and other tasks.
  • Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems, and ATS systems.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and follow through.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for full-cycle recruitment from receipt of new requisitions to sourcing & screening candidates to offers and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the hiring managers to identify recruiting strategies, interview approaches, and final selection of candidates.
  • Collaborate with HR staff to ensure successful and efficient processing of pre-hire verifications for onboarding.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to ensure understanding of requisition requirements and provide suggestions for job descriptions to attract the right talent for the business needs.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to post positions internally/externally per Union requirements and company policy and manage applicants through the applicant tracking system (Kallidus).
  • Source candidates using innovative methods.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to the hiring managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate and partner with external vendors, as needed.
  • Ensure candidates receive an excellent “candidate experience” and provide a positive experience to all internal staff.
  • Comply with all federal/state laws and regulations governing all stages of the recruiting process.
  • Represent the Company at job fairs, college recruiting events, and other recruiting events.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
