To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Recruiter in our Talent Acquisition Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to understand the corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company’s minimum requirements for employment. This will be achieved by working closely with station management to arrange and host recruiting events, where the recruiter will conduct interviews and orientation sessions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and Microsoft Office Skills, as well as a flexible schedule to allow for extensive travel. This position reports to either a Senior Recruiter or the Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

Excellent communication and Microsoft Office Skills

Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent MS Office Suite skills
Clear driving record
10-year Criminal History Records Check
Drug screen as required
Proof of high school or GED completion
Minimum 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of federal and state employment law
Previous recruiting experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field

Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding the corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company’s minimum requirements for employment
Work closely with station management in various locations to arrange and host recruiting events designed to meet staffing goals
Post job opportunities on various websites or newspapers, monitor responses, and contact candidates
Conduct interview and orientation sessions; arrange for new hires to attend mandatory training class
Ensure employment processes are completed for each new hire
Maintain and update files, tracking forms and order pre-employment workbooks as necessary
