About The Position

Recruiting hourly, non-exempt, and salaried exempt personnel. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications. Assist the Human Resources Director with administrative duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year experience recruiting hourly, non-exempt personnel
  • Experience with automated time clock system.
  • Computer knowledge – Excel, Word, Mircosoft Outlook and Teams, Skpe

  • Human Resources background desired.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit all candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Screen candidates resume and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
  • Complete reference and background checks on candidates.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote the company’s reputation as an “Employer of Choice.”
  • Assist in the job posting and advertising process in order to attract qualified candidates.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending an offer once approved by HR Director.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process for hourly personnel.
  • Schedule pre-employment testing after a contingent offer of employment has been made.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Work with temporary agencies in obtaining hourly employees based on production needs, as a supplement.
  • Track temporary employment hours for hiring as Northern Labs employees after they reach 480 hours.
  • Conduct orientations and onboarding process for new hires, transfer, promotions, etc.
  • Attend job fairs as needed.
  • Track paperwork for new hires.
  • Posting jobs on TV monitors and bulletin boards.
  • Work with training processes and documents as needed.
  • Back up the receptionist as needed.
  • Back up for Verkada Access Card system and Dayforce system.
  • Assist EHS Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
