About The Position

At Atlantic Emergency Solutions, our Recruiter plays a key role in helping us find and hire talented employees who support first responders throughout our organization. This position is responsible for managing the recruiting process from sourcing candidates through onboarding while creating a positive experience for applicants every step of the way. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Human Resources or recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across multiple locations
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned positions
  • Creating and posting job advertisements on recruiting platforms
  • Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conducting phone screens and virtual or in-person interviews
  • Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintaining communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals
  • Utilizing Indeed and other recruiting platforms to identify and engage talent
  • Maintaining candidate records within the applicant tracking system
  • Conducting reference checks and coordinating background screenings
  • Extending employment offers and assisting with onboarding documentation
  • Attending career fairs and recruiting events to build talent pipelines
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the hiring process
