About The Position

The Ward Law Group is seeking a Recruiter to provide support to Hiring Managers by partnering, interviewing, assessing candidates, coordinating and supporting second interviews, and interacting/assisting Hiring Managers to make sound hiring decisions for hotel and park frontline roles up to and possibly including operational leadership positions. This includes sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, recommending finalists, making job offers to both internal and external candidates, and supporting the onboarding process. Requirements

  • Must be able to work on-sight at our Corporate Office in Miami Lake (Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 PM)
  • Must have the ability to handle complex multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communications preferred.
  • 5+ years Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in Legal Industry
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting in legal preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing applications and interviewing Hourly and Exempt applicants face-to-face, via phone screen or virtual interview; analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Makes hiring decisions for roles not requiring management interviews by extending job offers or communicating no interest to the candidate.
  • Identifies candidates for alternate roles, when applicable.
  • Schedules candidate interviews for positions requiring Management second interviews.
  • Partners and collaborates with Operational Leadership to identify staffing needs for hotel and frontline roles up to and possibly including operational leadership roles with a focus on key competencies, backgrounds, education and skills required.
  • Plans, organizes and coordinates the second interview process with hiring managers when applicable.
  • Coaches management on interviews and assists with making solid hiring decisions.
  • Processes candidate offers, schedules orientations, and utilizes necessary resources to assess and complete tasks related to Work Authorization, I-9 documentation, references, background checks and new hire onboarding.
  • Retains and secures documentation as applicable to support eVerify, Child Labor Law requirements and compliance with all mandatory requirements.
  • Maintains confidentiality and documentation in accordance with retention policies.
  • Ensures data has been entered correctly and makes corrections as applicable.
  • Represents The Ward Law Group at both on-property and off-site job fairs, expos, and community events.
  • Completes preparation and follow-up duties for events and actively participates in the event by promoting available job opportunities and information.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established The Ward Law Group policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
