Recruiters are responsible for developing and executing effective sourcing, recruiting, and staffing strategies to attract a diverse and qualified talent pipeline. Recruiters manage full-cycle recruitment strategy and execution, including sourcing design, candidate evaluation, and hiring advisement for assigned requisitions. This role requires the regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for Aviation and/or Security industry
  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Related Field or 5 years HR experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
  • Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
  • Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Must obtain and maintain throughout course of employment a valid SIDA badge
  • English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with DEN managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the DEN operation.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules and conducts interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews along with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintains accurate and timely candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Partners with station leadership and administrative teams to support onboarding, badging, and clearance processes
  • Supports compliance with airport badging, background screening, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Manages pipeline of new hire candidates within volume recruitment requisitions- working with station administrative staff to engage candidates through the onboarding and badging process.
  • Tracks hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate throughput, and hiring volume.
  • Provides regular hiring status updates to hiring managers and recruiting leadership.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensures all offer letters and onboarding documentation meet compliance standards.
