About The Position

Due to our growth resulting from customer demand Westaff is looking for a Recruiter to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with our customers and associates in Plattsburgh, New York.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while producing quality results.
Proficiency with Microsoft products to include Outlook, Word, and TEAMS.
The ability to travel to local customers and recruit events locally is required.
Must be flexible to work later if needed.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check, and have credit history reviewed.

Nice To Haves

Recruiting, hiring, and coordinating experience are a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using knowledge of recruiting techniques to make excellent hiring decisions.
Collaborate with the team to create a high energy results-oriented culture.
Manage job postings through social media and job boards.
Develop and grow relationships with community organizations to attract new candidates.
Visit and tour client work locations to gain an understanding of the work requirements.
Manage and retain existing associates by providing opportunities for work and skill-building, and by responding to their questions and concerns.
Select and assign associates to positions that meet and exceed the associate's and clients' needs and expectations, utilizing a full understanding of client staffing needs.
Ensure both the associate and the client are highly satisfied during the assignment and provide coaching for the associate when needed.
