About The Position

Behavioral Framework – the leading provider of ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism in the DMV area – is looking for an experienced Recruiter. The Recruiter is responsible for managing and administering the company's employee onboarding program, ensuring a smooth transition for new talent into the company. This includes extending warm welcomes, coordinating training, monitoring training progress, handling onboarding paperwork and credentialing, and facilitating effective communication between new employees and internal teams to ensure their success.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Experience as an Onboarding coordinator, HR coordinator, or similar position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a HR role managing all phases of the hiring process highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Must comply with practice policies and procedures.
  • Requires daily in-office work.
  • Does not meet the requirements of regular telecommuting.
  • Physical activities include sitting for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling.
  • Must be able to reach, pull, and push.
  • Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and administer new employee onboarding program.
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and training.
  • Maintain communication with new employees through onboarding, training, and placement to ensure new employees are supported and welcomed to the team.
  • Coordinate, track, and report on training progress to include: o Provide access to the 40-hour training program for each new hire with deadline for completion. o Monitor new hire progress with 40-hour training completion and identify new hires who will not meet the deadline in a timely manner. o Coordinate with new hires to schedule their RBT certification exams. Follow up on exam days to obtain exam results.
  • Gather all employment paperwork, information, and required certification before start date to ensure compliance with legal regulations and insurance requirements (e.g. I9 verifications, background checks, credentialing, training and certifications are complete); Prepare onboarding kits.
  • Set up new hire accounts and schedules in the practice management system.
  • Submit, track and troubleshoot credentialing applications for MD Medicaid providers.
  • Act as a liaison to employees and collaborate with internal teams on training, certification, employment paperwork, and credentialing progress.
  • Monitor new hire turnover and retention rates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new employees to identify opportunities, answer questions, ensure a smooth new hire transition and help our distributed workforce remain connected.
  • Gather candidate experience feedback from new hires.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
