About The Position

This role focuses on leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for corporate and headquarters positions, primarily at the entry- to mid-management level. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and source, attract, and engage qualified candidates. A key aspect of the role involves managing the candidate experience, ensuring a positive and professional interaction throughout the recruitment lifecycle, and supporting onboarding. The position also requires maintaining accurate applicant tracking records, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and monitoring recruitment metrics. Additionally, the Recruiter will be involved in talent pipeline development, community engagement, and providing administrative support for Human Resources and Talent Acquisition initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned corporate and headquarters positions, with a primary focus on entry- through mid-management level roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking events, referrals, professional associations, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines, including passive candidates, to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate screening, phone interviews, and initial assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
  • Summarize candidate evaluations and provide recommendations to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Manage job postings and recruitment advertising across multiple platforms to maximize candidate attraction and engagement.
  • Determine when external recruiting agencies or third-party resources may be necessary and coordinate partnerships accordingly.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, communicate status updates, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and process offer letters, candidate acceptance documentation, background checks, and pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Create complete and accurate hiring packets and ensure all approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Human Resources and hiring managers to support a seamless onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
  • Respond to candidate and employee inquiries regarding recruitment processes, onboarding procedures, benefits, policies, and employment practices.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking records, recruiting documentation, and hiring activity reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and company policies.
  • Verify hiring documentation and submitted forms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate quality, and other key performance indicators.
  • Analyze recruiting trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, trade schools, and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Represent GLOVIS America at career fairs, networking events, industry conferences, and other recruiting activities.
  • Support employer branding initiatives designed to attract top talent and increase awareness of career opportunities.
  • Assist in monitoring labor market trends, recruiting best practices, and emerging talent acquisition technologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate and employee information at all times.
  • Ensure recruiting files, records, and workspaces are organized, secure, and compliant with company standards.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support Human Resources and Talent Acquisition objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
