Cavender Auto Family is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across their Oklahoma dealerships. This in-office role is based at Subaru of Norman and plays a key role in helping the company attract, engage, and hire top talent across multiple dealership functions. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to manage 25–30 active requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems to source, track, and manage candidates
  • Hands-on sourcing experience with Indeed and other recruiting platforms
  • Strong organization, communication, time-management, and follow-through skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for dealership visits, career fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require
  • Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for 35–40 active openings across Cavender Auto Family dealerships in Norman, Midwest City, and Oklahoma City
  • Recruit for a variety of dealership positions including: Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, Automotive Technicians, Accounting & Office Roles, Sales Managers, F&I Managers, Porter & Support Staff
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies through job boards, sourcing, career fairs, social media, networking, and community outreach
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver strong hiring results
  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and maintain recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system
  • Conduct initial interviews, coordinate next steps, extend offers, and guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Deliver a positive, high-touch candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
  • Negotiate offers and help close candidates in a competitive hiring market
  • Maintain organization, urgency, and follow-through while balancing multiple priorities
