About The Position

The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the identification, attraction, and selection of qualified candidates for our client' job openings. Working closely with hiring managers, the Recruiter ensures the acquisition of top talent that aligns seamlessly with our clients' organizational objectives, mission, and values. This position entails a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to job advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, processing employment verifications, extending offers, negotiations, and managing candidate progress within the applicant tracking system.

Requirements

  • Proficient organizational and time management skills for managing multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering connections with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
  • Proficiency in compensation package understanding and negotiation.
  • Autonomy in both independent and team-driven work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, HRIS, and data analysis/reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or two to four years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant recruitment experience.
  • Experience in recruitment processes, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to comprehensively grasp personnel requirements, job specifics, qualifications, and essential skills.
  • Thoroughly review job requisitions for accuracy of company, location, and job details before granting approval.
  • Oversee the job requisition approval process within the Workday platform.
  • Craft compelling job advertisements and publish openings on pertinent job boards, career websites, internal career portals, social media platforms, and other relevant channels.
  • Maintain accuracy and currency of job postings.
  • Develop innovative recruitment initiatives and materials tailored to attract applicants for specific positions.
  • Form partnerships with universities, alumni groups, educational programs, and community organizations to enhance applicant reach.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, conferences, and recruitment events, including setup and engagement.
  • Conduct presentations about our clients and opportunities at schools, organizations, and job fairs.
  • Employ diverse sourcing methods, encompassing job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and more, to identify potential candidates.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates, catering to present and future job openings.
  • Serve as primary contact for candidates, addressing inquiries, and concerns, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Evaluate resumes, applications, and credentials to assess candidates' qualifications, education, certifications, salary expectations, and work experience.
  • Conduct phone screens to evaluate candidates' skills and subject matter expertise, providing them with information about our organization, facilities, and roles.
  • Keep detailed candidate records in HRIS System.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring committees, offering support and guidance to ensure a consistent and equitable selection process.
  • Handle job offer negotiations and communications while adhering to organizational policies and compensation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with HR Helpdesk to submit accurate offer details.
  • Conduct verification of employment and assess alignment with provided application information.
  • Communicate issues regarding employment verification to the Recruitment Manager.
  • Maintain employment records for future reference.
  • Assists with other projects, functions and duties as assigned.
