About The Position

MFort Security Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing HR team. This role begins part-time with strong potential to transition into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities. You will play an essential role in our recruitment process — managing job postings, interviewing candidates, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring our records and calendars stay up to date.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment tasks including phone and in-person interviews
• Maintain and update the interview calendar and candidate pipeline
• Manage and post job listings across multiple platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new hires
• Assist with uniform fittings and employee file setup during onboarding
• Organize and assemble employee personnel files
• Keep all job postings and recruitment records current
• Provide weekly recruitment updates for team meetings
