This Recruiter will join our Corporate Recruiter Team, which partners closely with Leaders across multiple business functions to understand workforce needs, design and execute tailored hiring strategies, and deliver an exceptional experience for both Candidates and Hiring Leaders. The work includes influencing decisions through data and insights, navigating competing priorities, and proactively addressing hiring challenges to ensure the right talent joins our Team. By developing strong partnerships, leveraging innovative sourcing approaches, and maintaining a high-touch process, this position plays a key role in shaping the future of our Company. Requirements

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
  • Skilled in using Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to bring others together and trying to reconcile differences
  • Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate information and ideas across the organization to develop strategies, demonstrate solutions to meet needs, and gain buy-in and action
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in Human Resources
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for professional, corporate, and indirect roles across multiple business functions.
  • Experience conducting and actively participating in panel, finalist, and other late-stage interviews in partnership with hiring Leaders and Stakeholders.
  • Experience utilizing Workday as an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage recruiting workflows, Candidate movement, and hiring activities.
  • Experience leveraging Phenom as a candidate relationship management (CRM) platform to support sourcing, Candidate engagement, and talent pipeline development.
  • Experience managing a high-volume requisition portfolio while supporting multiple business segments and competing hiring priorities.
  • Experience facilitating hiring discussions, building Stakeholder alignment, and driving Candidate selection decisions through consensus with Leaders and the Hiring Team.
  • Experience developing, consulting on, and executing end-to-end hiring strategies with business Leaders, including talent market insights, sourcing approaches, Candidate assessment, and selection planning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with strategic partners to develop effective and efficient recruiting strategies for specific roles to identify, evaluate, and select the best talent possible
  • Screening, assessing, and conducting interviews with candidates for job fit and skills, level of interest, qualifications, and salary expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals
  • Partner with HRBP’s and Compensation to craft, present, and negotiate employment offers, including complex compensation components
  • Establish partnerships with Sourcing, Pipelines, Programs and other teams to proactively build pipelines to meet hiring demands
  • Effectively utilize Talent Acquisition tools to create efficiencies and improve productivity
  • Represent Southwest at job fairs and industry specific events by strategizing attendance schedules, setting up and tearing down, and preparing presentations in order to build a positive brand and source Candidates
  • Advise others on career or personal development
  • Coach and advise individual contributors on the development of competencies and skills needed to achieve Employee needs and future aspirations
  • Interpret and explain Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
