Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in accounting or professional services
  • Ability to commute to Chicago, Downers Grove, and Deerfield offices as needed
  • Proven ability to source candidates from LinkedIn, ATS, and networking
  • Experience building and managing large candidate pipelines
  • Ability to apply judgment in hiring recommendations
  • Understanding of hiring best practices and Illinois state laws impacting HR
  • Excellent communication skills & time management skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for bringing in top talent!

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts for the Audit department and various departments as needed
  • Enhance company’s growth by strategically hiring top talent
  • Act as a direct point of contact for hiring managers
  • Actively source candidates for open roles and review incoming applications from postings
  • Conduct phone screens and assess candidates’ qualifications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates for current and future openings
  • Negotiate compensation and start dates
  • Work with managers to update job descriptions when needed
  • Develop an expertise in Miller Cooper’s departments and specialties to better assess candidate’s qualifications
