About The Position

This position is contingent upon the modification of the current RMT contract and the award of Option Year Three (3). The projected start date is 3 August 2026.   • Five years of successful military recruiting experience (or have obtained a Master Badge if prior ARNG or Army recruiter (or equivalent from another branch of service))
  • Preferably served in a leadership position with any Recruiting Command (any branch of service) as at least a Team Leader, or equivalent (typically a senior E6 or E7).
  • Must complete 48 hours of in-person training per month
  • Normal hours: 0730–1700, Monday–Friday (excluding Federal holidays), though flexibility is required
  • Valid state issued Driver’s License and automobile insurance required
  • NACLC and POSTA Screening Required

Nice To Haves

  • A college degree is preferred but not required for RMTs
  • Previous experience as an ARNG RR 1SG or NCOIC
  • Prior experience as an RRBN Master Trainer
  • Background in RRBN Operations or as a MEPS Guidance Counselor

Responsibilities

  • Plays a critical role in the development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs) within the Army National Guard.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in recruiting processes and techniques.
  • Responsible for assessing individual and team performance.
  • Developing and delivering structured training programs.
  • Fostering continuous professional growth to enhance recruiting and retention success.
  • Requires dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and guiding others in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
