Our Penske Logistics Operations Field Recruiter will manage the full life-cycle recruiting process, for salaried leader positions including sourcing, selection, offer negotiation, and initiating the onboarding process for our Transportation and Warehouse operations. We are seeking a highly responsive, customer-focused individual with strong time management and organizational skills to manage approximately 20 (primarily salaried) positions at any given point. This position is preferred to be based out of our Irving, TX office, reporting to the Recruiting Manager with a strong dotted line relationship to the vice-president(s) and human resource director(s). This position will recruit for roles such as Operations Managers, Operations Supervisors, and other salaried roles supporting the warehouse and transportation business. A heavy emphasis in this role is placed on sourcing and recruiting talent, utilizing resume databases, research, networking skills, social media, and proactive identification of active and passive talent through flawless execution of our process and creative thinking for challenging roles and markets. The position will also be responsible for placing and editing job advertisements in various media outlets, database management, internet resume mining, cold calling, local school/organization recruiting diversity organizations, and screening applicants.
