Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience (manufacturing or skilled trades strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to fill hard-to-fill roles quickly and effectively
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with job boards and recruiting tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in aerospace, defense, or AS9100 environments
  • Familiarity with skilled trades such as CNC machining, welding, or quality inspection
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Knowledge of Michigan workforce programs (Michigan Works!, apprenticeships, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for high-demand roles including CNC Machinists, Welders, Quality Technicians, Engineers, and Production Supervisors
  • Source candidates through appropriate job boards, trade schools, referrals, and creative outreach strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and define candidate profiles
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate onsite interviews and facilitate onboarding
  • Manage job postings and candidate pipelines within our ATS
  • Build relationships with technical schools, workforce agencies, and community partners
  • Manage apprenticeship program compliance
  • Promote the company’s culture and values to attract top talent.
  • Develop long-term talent acquisition strategies and build talent pipelines for future growth.
  • Identify support and resources for manufacturing skilled-trades talent development and recruitment
