About The Position

As the Recruiter I at Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU), you will be responsible for recruiting and presenting qualified candidates for front-line member-facing positions, both permanent and temporary. This role involves assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination activities. You will also complete background screenings under guidance and support hiring managers and senior recruiting staff in candidate selection and job offers. Additionally, you will assist in administering internal and external job postings and advertising processes using a variety of media sourcing sites.

Requirements

Two-year college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience required.
1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, or a related administrative role required.
Experience supporting high-volume or entry-level hiring preferred.
Relevant education or internship experience may be considered as a substitution.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for front-line roles, partnering with hiring managers to define needs, source talent, conduct screenings, and present qualified candidates.
Provide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate progress while supporting background checks and employment verification.
Deliver a positive candidate experience by communicating application status, next steps, and maintaining compliant recruitment records.
Assist with job offers and onboarding by coordinating offer details, pre-employment requirements, start dates, and orientation activities.
Support internal recruitment efforts by managing job postings, coordinating interviews, and ensuring consistency with internal policies.
Develop and post job advertisements across job boards, social media, and other sourcing channels.
Demonstrate strong organization and initiative while supporting continuous improvements to recruiting processes and candidate experience.
Conducts Benefits presentation to new Team Members on a rotating basis.
