About The Position

Atoms is seeking a Recruiter specializing in Early Career Recruiting to be the primary representative on campuses and in emerging talent communities. This role is crucial for building and scaling the company's internship and new graduate programs, focusing on engineering, product, and technical roles. The recruiter will manage the full recruitment cycle for interns, co-ops, and new graduates, foster brand presence through university partnerships and events, and collaborate with hiring managers to define roles and conversion pathways. A key aspect of this position is designing exceptional candidate experiences tailored for early career talent and building diverse pipelines through targeted sourcing and programs. The role also involves leveraging data to track recruitment metrics, improve processes, and acting as a culture ambassador for the company's values.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience, with exposure to campus, university, or early career recruiting preferred.
  • Experience recruiting Software Engineers or technical talent is a plus.
  • A relationship builder who’s energized by connecting with students, professors, and campus partners. You thrive at events and in 1:1 conversations.
  • Strong project management skills — you can juggle multiple campus calendars, interview loops, and offer processes without dropping details.
  • Excellent communicator who can pitch Atoms students as easily as you can align with hiring managers on role expectations.
  • Creative and scrappy mindset — you find new ways to reach talent and aren’t afraid to pilot new ideas for campus engagement.
  • Data-curious with ability to use metrics to tell a story and improve processes.
  • Passion for candidate experience and for launching careers in tech.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for interns, co-ops, and new grads across Software Engineering, Product Management, Data, and other technical roles.
  • Partner with universities and bootcamps to build brand presence through career fairs, tech talks, hackathons, and student org relationships.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and engineering leaders to forecast headcount, define intern project scopes, and create strong conversion pathways to full-time roles.
  • Design engaging candidate experiences from first touchpoint to offer, including interview processes tailored for early career talent.
  • Build diverse pipelines through creative sourcing, events, and programs focused on underrepresented groups in tech.
  • Leverage data and insights to track funnel health, campus ROI, offer acceptance rates, and intern conversion, using metrics to improve outcomes year over year.
  • Champion our culture by being an ambassador for CSS values and ensuring every candidate has a positive, high-touch experience.
