The Bindu Institute supports wounded warriors living with moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries, or other neurological conditions. We partner with warriors long-term, helping them navigate their personal paths to independence. Our interdisciplinary approach promotes wellness, connection, and empowerment through meaningful community engagement and structured support. The Recreational Therapist will play a vital role in helping clients re-engage with life through purposeful leisure, wellness, and community-based activities. This role combines the therapeutic benefits of recreation with direct functional support, building on each individual’s strengths and aligning with their personal goals. You’ll use recreation as a tool for rehabilitation, community reintegration, and life satisfaction, while also supporting areas like household management, communication, and self-advocacy.
