About The Position

Join the Origami team as our Recreational Therapist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming lives through innovative and meaningful therapeutic recreation services! Under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor, you will design, coordinate, and evaluate individualized treatment plans that focus on both structured onsite activities and community integration, empowering clients to achieve their fullest potential. In role, you’ll also mentor the Recreational Therapy Aide, ensuring seamless support for client-centered services. Your work will be central to enhancing the quality of life for each client, ensuring that care is tailored, impactful, and aligned with our mission, vision, and core values. Requirements

  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Nice To Haves

  • One to four years of related experience in clinical rehabilitation
  • Experience in working with neurological conditions

Responsibilities

  • Develop therapeutic treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, and needs.
  • Document client information including session notes, progress notes, and treatment plans per organization and insurance requirements.
  • Provide recreational therapy to individuals and groups.
  • Collaborate on strategic development of recreational therapy initiatives.
  • Mentor the Recreational Therapy Aide.
