About The Position

The City of Mebane is seeking an individual to enhance participant experience within the athletic programs. This position will require evening weeknight work between 5:00 – 9:00 PM with occasional weekend work.

Requirements

• Must be 15 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Apply personal strengths, motives, and interests to improve the athletic program experience for participants.
• Provide general supervision of athletic games and/or practices.
• Lead and/or assist with activities when needed.
• Prepare athletic facilities before events and take down all equipment after the event.
• Ensure equipment is in working order before use.
• Scorekeeping during athletic contests.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as participant check-in, completing safety and activity reports, and issuing participant surveys.
• Communicate with participants, spectators, coaches, and officials in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
