RECREATION MANAGER
About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Recreation Manager at Les Peters Academy in St Petersburg, Florida. Les Peters Academy is a moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program. As a Recreational Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with one to three years' experience.
- Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
- Leadership ability is necessary to instill high-standard positive attitudes among staff and students.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively serve students.
