We are seeking friendly, dependable individuals to serve as Recreation Leaders with the City of Roseville’s Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. In this role, you will primarily support front desk operations at recreation facilities, assisting patrons with program registration, rental booking, payments, inquiries, and general facility information while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. You will also help coordinate day-to-day front desk coverage by working closely with part-time staff, assisting with scheduling needs, providing guidance, and supporting smooth operations during assigned shifts. Additional responsibilities may include supporting recreation programs, activities, and special events as needed. Joining our team means being part of something bigger. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of recreation professionals, build strong customer service and administrative skills, and contribute directly to programs that enhance quality of life in our community. The employment list that will be established from this recruitment may be utilized to fill future regular, limited-term, and temporary vacancies. The current vacancy is regular, full-time, and benefitted. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 am – 6 pm; occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

Requirements

  • One year of experience overseeing and implementing recreation programs or one year of clerical and customer service experience.
  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree.

Responsibilities

  • Support front desk operations at recreation facilities.
