Recreation Leader - Kidz Kamp
About The Position
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Recreation Leader - Kiddy Korner. The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator. The primary job duties of this position include: Assist with implementing facility programs and events. Preparing activities, curriculum, leading and monitoring assigned activities, adapting to participant's needs, classroom management and maintaining records. Customer service to include fielding questions and resolving conflicts with internal and external customers. Facilitate a range of activities, crafts and games for children ages 18 months to 7 years in a safe and friendly environment.
Requirements
- Be able to work with minimal to no supervision, respond to emergency situations and be astute in conflict resolution skills
- Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Flexible availability to workdays and evenings (Approximately 10 – 15 hours weekly. Hours for these positions are Monday through Thursday from 8 am - 12 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday from 8 am – 12 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm)
- Possess and maintain certification for CPR and Standard First Aid within 30 days of hire
- Must be 18+ years
- This position requires a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and fingerprinting.
