About The Position

The Norridge Park District is seeking an energetic and dependable part-time Recreation Instructor to lead and instruct a variety of athletic classes, sports leagues, and after-school enrichment programs. The position involves providing engaging, age-appropriate activities, teaching basic sports skills, supervising participants, and creating a positive and welcoming environment for children and families. The instructor also prepares equipment and materials, maintains a safe program environment, and assists with other recreation programs as needed. Candidates should enjoy working with children, have strong communication skills, and be available for flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. The salary is $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
