The purpose of this classification is to manage assigned recreation facilities and programs. This role involves supervising, directing, and evaluating assigned staff, organizing and prioritizing work, serving as a liaison between division management and staff, and assisting in the development of division goals and objectives. The administrator will identify, plan, and manage recreation center programs and services, assess community needs, and coordinate staff to implement services and activities. Additionally, this position requires maintaining knowledge of community resources, developing partnerships, and conducting community outreach.
