About The Position
The Recreation Coordinator will provide activities of a physical, mental and spiritual nature tailored to the individual abilities, needs and desires of those we serve in order to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life. This role is full-time with an hourly rate of $23.00. The work schedule is typically 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility for one 11:00 am - 7:00 pm shift weekly, including every other weekend. The company is recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey".
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation, Creative Arts Therapy or in related field or be certified as an Activity Director Certified - ADC.
- Current driver’s license in good standing required.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum two years’ experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement may be required within six months of employment.
