About The Position
The Martin County Board of County Commissioners is hiring a Recreation Coordinator for the Parks and Recreation Department. This role is located in Martin County, FL. Requirements
- Possession of First Aid, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External (AED) certifications within six (6) months of hire and maintain same license and certifications as a condition of continued employment.
- Must be able to complete forty (40) hours of required training and testing through the Department of Children and Families within the first year of hire.
- Must be able to complete ten (10) hours of required training for every subsequent year.
- Must participate in ongoing training and continuing education related to parks, recreation, and childcare services annually.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate recreation programs and activities.
- Ensure compliance with training and certification requirements, including First Aid, CPR, AED, and Department of Children and Families training.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education related to parks, recreation, and childcare services annually.
