Performs the duties involved in the daily supervision of summer youth programs within a regional or neighborhood community recreation center. This position will be working in the outdoors each day supervising neighborhood spray parks. Duties include maintaining the water chemistry up to Metro Health Department’s standards and monitoring patrons to ensure safety. These positions would be required to work on the weekends especially on Sundays when the community building are closed without supervision. The POWER Youth program, previously known as Opportunity NOW, provides career exploration and work experience activities for youth 14 to 24 years old. The name POWER Youth was selected by the peer youth leadership team based on how they view themselves and their future.
