About The Position

The Town of Prosper is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of Seasonal - Recreation Attendant. This role operates under the general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and works in partnership with other employees, departments/divisions, external entities, and the public to deliver effective and innovative recreation services. The employee will assist in the supervision of recreational, social, and educational programs and activities for citizens, assist with events, and monitor Town-owned athletic fields. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED First Aid certified or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Leisure Studies, Kinesiology or equivalent preferred.
• Recreation programming or facility management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervision of recreational, social, educational programs and activities for citizens.
• Assists with events.
• Monitors Town owned athletic fields.
