About The Position

The Recreation Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience at the pool facility. This role involves overseeing the cleanliness and daily upkeep of the pool area, informing guests about available services and activities, and maintaining adequate supplies of towels and water. The attendant will also assist in promoting the facility and organizing special events, while adhering to all departmental policies, safety, and sanitation procedures. A key aspect of the role is to foster guest satisfaction by maintaining a team environment focused on prompt and courteous service.

Requirements

Previous guest service experience, preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid training, preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Highly responsible and reliable.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Individuals who are passionate about hotels and hospitality.
Those people who strive to provide the best guest experience to each guest and will stop at nothing to do so.

Responsibilities

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Welcome guests to the pool facility and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Oversee the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool and pool area.
Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
Ensure an adequate supply of towels and water are available to guests.
Assist in promoting the facility and organizing special events as required.
Follow departmental policies and procedures.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Promote guest satisfaction through his/her ability to develop and maintain a team environment, placing an emphasis on guest satisfaction, and delivering prompt and courteous service.
