Recreation Attendant
About The Position
As a Recreation Attendant at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will help provide Owners and guests with recreational experiences and events that create memorable vacation moments. The role promotes a fun, relaxing atmosphere and provides information about recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment. It also involves encouraging participation, registering and scheduling guests, and processing payments for rentals, activities, facility use, or retail sales. Attendants are expected to welcome guests, anticipate and address their needs, interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests, contribute to team goals, and follow company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Responsibilities
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owners and guests in recreational activities and areas.
- Maintain an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
- Provide information about available recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment.
- Encourage and recruit Owners and guests to participate in recreation activities.
- Register and schedule Owners and guests for activities, recording information using appropriate methods.
- Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
- Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
- Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
- Contribute to team goals.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
