About The Position

As a Recreation Attendant at Omni Hilton Head Island, you’ll be an essential part of creating a fun and safe experience for our guests in the Recreation and Pool areas. You’ll help manage daily operations like towel distribution, bike rentals, retail sales, and guest activities. Your role will also include ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the pool and recreation areas while assisting with events and new program ideas.

Requirements

• Must have been in the H2B Program before
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Experience with cash handling, Micros POS system, and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and move furniture.
• At least 6 months of hospitality or service-related experience.
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful service, including towel distribution and assisting with poolside activities.
• Monitor the safety of guests in the pool area and keep the pool deck and recreation areas clean.
• Lead daily activities, kids' programs, and assist with special events.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues and help arrange pool furniture and equipment.
• Complete paperwork for checklists, inventories, and accounting.
• Work independently when needed, while following company guidelines and standards.
