The Opportunity: Recreation Attendant (Racquets). We are looking for an individual who can provide support for Explorer Island, our recreational area. Explorer Island features a Family Pool, Splash Zone, Lazy River, and The Drop. Dry out over a game of beach volleyball, shoot hoops, or get your gaming fix at The Hideout. Our complimentary Kids for All Seasons program is also located on the island.

Requirements

Experience working outside in a resort setting
Able to adapt to daily changes and challenges
Comfortable outside during times of high temperatures.
A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
Pickleball Pro Certification Required
Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with water, towels, and assistance with seating arrangements at the beach area.
Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to maximize customer satisfaction.
Organize and conduct tennis and pickleball clinics for hotel guests, members, and private residents.
Organize individual lessons at the courts.
Assist in the organization and management of leagues and private group tournaments.
Oversee the daily operation of the courts, including scheduling court times, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper maintenance.
Lead member and resident summer camp pickleball activities.
Perform other duties as assigned related to racquet sports and court operations.
