With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to run the bowling alley desk and assist our guests with any issues during their game. As a Recreation Attendant, the Bowling and Arcade will be your primary focus. You will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation. You will enjoy talking to people of all ages including young children and will report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure the smooth running of the bowling alley.

Requirements

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times

Responsibilities

Proper cash handling procedures to include Point of Sale transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
Greet all guests and assist them in the bowling process; to include ringing up each transaction and provide proper shoe sizes, score cards, scoring directions as well as overseeing the lanes for needed repairs.
Maintain a clean facility and work area.
Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe areas or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed.
Restock redemption items and tickets in the games.
Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.
Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly.
Oversee guests and their use of the facilities to ensure safety at all times.
