About The Position
Under the supervision and direction of the Department of Recreation, the Recreation Program Leader will help support programs, classes and events by co-coordinating, planning and implementing activities throughout the year to support the full-time Recreation Program Coordinators. This flexible position works with a variety of programs in various facilities throughout the city. A Recreation Leader must be a team player and willing to assist the Recreation Department to the best of their abilities.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Experience in planning events, classes and programs.
- High School or College graduate with relative professional experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet City driving history requirements in order to drive a city vehicle.
- Safety conscious individuals that have a desire and focus to perform the work safely, properly, and with attention to detail.
- Strong team player is essential.
- Motivated hardworking attitude.
- Commitment to offering exceptional service.
- Subject to a nicotine test in the final step of the hiring process.
