About The Position

Under the supervision and direction of the Department of Recreation, the Recreation Program Leader will help support programs, classes and events by co-coordinating, planning and implementing activities throughout the year to support the full-time Recreation Program Coordinators. This flexible position works with a variety of programs in various facilities throughout the city. A Recreation Leader must be a team player and willing to assist the Recreation Department to the best of their abilities.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • Experience in planning events, classes and programs.
  • High School or College graduate with relative professional experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet City driving history requirements in order to drive a city vehicle.
  • Safety conscious individuals that have a desire and focus to perform the work safely, properly, and with attention to detail.
  • Strong team player is essential.
  • Motivated hardworking attitude.
  • Commitment to offering exceptional service.
  • Subject to a nicotine test in the final step of the hiring process.
