Plans, organizes, conducts, and directs a variety of recreational activities at a recreation facility or park site. This role involves planning, organizing, scheduling, conducting, and directing recreation activities in various program areas such as sports, arts and crafts, senior citizen recreation programs, special events, and therapeutic recreation programs. The position also includes maintaining and preparing reports, ordering supplies, resolving public inquiries and complaints, collaborating with community groups and schools, advertising programs, registering participants, training staff, enforcing policies, and participating in community activities. Additionally, the role requires maintaining records, ensuring facilities and equipment are in good order, clean, sanitized, and free of hazards, and upholding courteous, civil, and respectful behavior towards all individuals.
