Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
One year of previous relevant work experience preferred
None

Responsibilities

Welcome patrons to the Recreation Center and provide assistance with inquiries regarding facilities and programs.
Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to create a welcoming environment.
Issue equipment and handle payments according to established procedures.
Report maintenance issues and ensure facility cleanliness.
Register patrons for programs and classes, processing credit card transactions and cash payments.
Assist in the development and implementation of programs, classes, and special events by monitoring registrations and providing information to participants.
Register patrons for classes and aquatic programs, enter data into computer systems, and handle financial transactions.
Conduct tours of the Recreation Division and check out gym and game equipment to guests.
Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and inventory management.
Support other areas of the Recreation Center by assisting with special events and activities as needed.
Attend mandatory training sessions and in-service meetings to stay informed about departmental policies and procedures.
Inform supervisor of all work-related activities and enforce adherence to personnel, safety, and departmental policies of the City of Bellaire.
Contribute to the team effort by performing other related duties as assigned.
