Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Recreation Aide assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of meaningful programs for the residents. This role involves maintaining department records, communicating with residents and families, attending in-service education, and participating in team meetings. The Aide also facilitates resident outings, assists with activity assessments, prepares and evaluates daily activities, and may assist with meal services. A key aspect of the role is working in a position of trust with vulnerable adults and upholding the organization's values and philosophy.
