About The Position
New Day Recovery is seeking a compassionate and driven Therapist to support individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use and mental health challenges. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping clients build stability, develop coping skills, and move toward lasting change.
Requirements
- Active Ohio licensure: CDCA, LCDC, LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, or LICDC
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients in a structured treatment setting
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and case management
- Facilitate family sessions and support client engagement in treatment
- Complete clinical documentation, reports, and case summaries in compliance with standards
- Coordinate care and make referrals to appropriate levels of treatment
- Advocate for clients with courts, community partners, and support services
- Participate in team meetings and program development
