About The Position

Family Ark provides individual and family therapy services to youth and families in southern Indiana. Its Lotus House is a transitional housing program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. Recovery Support Staff oversee the functional operations of the Lotus House residential program and facility. The position reports to the Lotus House Program Supervisor.

The role is full-time and works 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., five days a week, with weekend availability required. Staff rotate to work every other weekend. Family Ark describes its environment as collaborative, flexible, and high-energy, with ongoing program development and opportunities to work and train in clinical best practices. The program is based on a 76-acre campus with natural wetlands, walking paths, and open play spaces, used for family events, therapeutic activities, supervised family visitations, and community events.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass extensive background checks.
• Candidates are subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of post-secondary education or Peer Support Specialist certification will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety and security of programs and clients.
• Assist in coordinating day reporting and treatment programs, including community service, education, parenting, childcare needs, substance abuse treatment, and Independent Living (IL) skills.
• Provide transportation and assist with childcare as needed.
• Complete required documentation, including daily case notes, shift logs, maintenance requests, and visitation notes.
