About The Position

Northeast Recovery is hiring a full-time Recovery Specialist/Behavioral Health Technician at Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, Massachusetts. The Recovery Specialist is an entry point to a career in recovery services and helps maintain a safe, structured, closely supervised residential environment. The role requires consistent adherence to established policies and procedures and collaboration with the Clinical Treatment team to support clinical and treatment practices in the milieu in accordance with agency standards and philosophy.

The position is scheduled for second shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The listed pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Overnight shift differentials are noted for third shift.

Requirements

• At least one year of 12-Step fellowship experience is required.
• A minimum of two years in the treatment industry is preferred.
• CPR certification is listed as preferred.
• A high school diploma is listed as preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently and often move with clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a CNA, Behavioral Health Technician, Mental Health Technician, Recovery Specialist, or Residential Counselor.
• At least two years of experience in the treatment industry.
• CPR certification.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of clients.
• Facilitate and co-facilitate non-clinical client groups.
• Provide safe transportation for clients.
• Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with agency and licensing requirements.
• Follow established policies and procedures and work with the Clinical Treatment team to support treatment practices in the milieu.
