About The Position

The Recovery Liaison must coordinate communications and provide oversight to facilitate grant administration programs. The selected candidate must implement policy directives provided by the Public Assistance Section Manager, the Recovery Chief, the Chief of Operations, and/or the Division Director. This position ensures programmatic compliance with federal regulations and develops plans to meet those standards. The Recovery Liaison identifies potential opportunities and represents the Recovery team in meetings, briefings, and interagency discussions. The selected candidate will also be responsible for preparing reports and updates for leadership or the public.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of experience directing emergency planning or response activities including two years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Close attention must be given to work detail, especially in coordinating communication between agencies, departments, community groups and leadership.

Responsibilities
