About The Position

The Recovery House Program Coordinator manages the daily operations and administration of a 10-bed sober living facility, providing a safe, structured and supportive environment for self-identified females in substance use recovery. Reporting directly to the Manager of Substance Use Services, this role balances facility management, resident support, and community building with adherence to established regulatory and operational standards. This position also provides direct supervision, training, and support to the House Manager. This role is primarily on site at Recovery House, with a flexible daily start and end time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • 1-2 years of related behavioral health experience required.
  • Candidates must hold a CAS or be able to obtain a CAS within 6 months of hire.

  • One year of staff supervision is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the resident admission process, approve all placements, and manage resident rent requirements.
  • Complete thorough resident intake interview to evaluate individual needs.
  • Provide referrals to residents to assist in applying for benefits and acquiring basic needs, including housing, food, clothing, medical, dental, legal, vocational, and medication services.
  • Consult with the Program Manager on high-risk cases and facilitates referrals to higher levels of care, such as residential treatment, withdrawal management or emergency services.
  • Supervise daily facility operations and community activities, including house meetings, case management meetings, room checks, chores and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Manage the hiring, training and supervision of the 24/7 on-site House Manager. Collaborate with the Program Manager to monitor staff performance, enforce accountability and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • In collaboration with the Program Manager and Program Director, effectively manage the team budget.
  • Update and maintain the resident handbook and coordinating house expectations in collaboration with the House Manager.
  • Ensure house rules are followed, working alongside the House Manager to implement appropriate consequences when necessary.
  • Responds to resident needs and problems, initiates and maintains positive interactions, and has timely response to phone calls, e-mail, and other requests.
  • Oversee all rent collection and financial tracking for resident accounts, ensuring timely payment, accurate record – keeping and strict compliance with Colorado residential tenancy laws.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation to support quality of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Collect and monitor required outcome and utilization data to maintain compliance per the Signal contract requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to regulatory bodies, including Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado and the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), managing all annual audits, inspections and licensing. Ensures regulatory compliance and follows state guidelines.
  • Will attend scheduled supervision and any scheduled meetings as determined by the Program Manager and or Director.
  • Collaborate with Jefferson Center departments to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Will demonstrate knowledge in the following interventions: Recovery Based Models, Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma informed care.
  • Maintains effective interpersonal relations with residents, staff, leadership, and community partners. Using language and behavior to promote dignity and respect.
  • Participate in and complete all required Jefferson Center training and educational programs.
  • Serve as the primary community liaison, cultivating positive relationships with local residents, businesses and neighborhood associations while proactively addressing and resolving any community concerns.
  • This position requires on-call duties to support our 24/7 resident care.
