About The Position

This position has primary responsibility for providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the clients through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction. Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, or designee, in most cases, but some tasks are accomplished independently. The Crisis Residential Program serves at-risk Transition-Age Youth (TAY) needing a higher level of care short of psychiatric hospitalization. The facility is a 24/7 Voluntary Residential Facility with a capacity of up to 15 youth. Clinical services include individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical case management. The length of stay is an extended residential treatment timeline, varying based on individual stabilization, recovery, and housing transition goals. The program focuses on educational guidance, vocational training/support, housing placement/location assistance, recovery-oriented care, peer support, life skills development, and community connection building.

Requirements

  • Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
  • Must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.
  • Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required (can be obtained after hire).
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year of full-time experience in consumer-directed services within a mental health, healthcare, or social services setting.
  • Associate degree plus six years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Mental Health Field) plus four years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Master’s Degree (Mental Health Field) plus two years of experience in the mental health field.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).
