About The Position

Monte Nido Clementine Atlanta is a residential treatment program in Sandy Springs, Georgia, serving adolescents seeking treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or exercise addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families through recovery by helping clients build healthy skills and prepare to navigate life free of the eating disorder, while involving families as partners in the recovery process.

Clementine is seeking a Per Diem Recovery Coach to support clients throughout their recovery journey. The position offers an opportunity to develop a career in mental health and the eating disorder field.

Requirements

• At least two years of post-high-school education; a bachelor’s degree in Psychology is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired and required in some states.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• Good communication and client relations skills, service orientation, flexibility, and ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
• Provide support and intervention consistent with each client’s treatment plan.
• Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients in the milieu and with the team.
• Assist with food preparation and setup, and model and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Participate in exposure to therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
