Recovery Coach | Entry-Level Mental Health Aide
About The Position
The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) assists in providing a therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, and assisting with crisis intervention. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Director of Nursing, Program Director, or a designee. The role is with Crestwood’s Fresno Bridge Program, a licensed adult residential facility and California Department of Health Care Services-certified social rehabilitation program. The program serves clients preparing to transition back into their communities and independent living. In partnership with staff, clients develop and implement individualized recovery-based plans focused on wellness in personal and community living. This is a part-time, on-call position. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity checks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- A compassionate mindset toward people in recovery.
- Successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity checks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and communicate with persons served.
- Provide rehabilitation groups under supervision.
- Assist with crisis intervention.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, Program Director, or a designee.
